Joe Scarborough wins Cable News Twitter for Monday, 12/1/14

Morning Joe became all-day Joe as Joe Scarborough’s comments about media coverage of Ferguson ricocheted around the twitter-verse, giving him the most mentions throughout the day. And even though The Kelly File won best hour, Morning Joe was just a bit behind her in that category:

Although much of the conversation on Twitter was scathing about Scarborough, it is interesting to note that it was his conservative side, even on MSNBC, that brought him Fox News levels of buzz.

Cashin’ In barely slowed by holiday weekend, leaves pack in dust. Cable News Twitter Ratings 11/29/14

As the weekend schedules started to return to normal after holiday programming, activity levels on Twitter started to pick back up.  Cashin’ In was at its usual levels, down a very slight 6% from last weekend’s record high. All other leading shows were down, most much more dramatically than that.

Greta wins Cable News Twitter on Black Friday, 2014

Friday’s schedule was a special holiday one, with much of the normal programming displaced by re-runs and pre-taped shows.  As a result, the conversation on Twitter was subdued.  Greta one the best hour with a very low 703 mentions, while MSNBC live, which filled most of that network’s shortened news day, had the most mentions overall.
