The Melissa Harris-Perry show won best hour on Sunday, with Fox News (in general) winning the best day. That’s a bit strange, but Fox News ran generic news during the Oscars (no reason for anyone to take a ratings hit, I guess), and so I had to just sort of mush generic Fox News mentions into a show to account for them. Congratulations, anonymous Fox News programming, you won best day, and respectably well!
Following the 11am MHP hour were the 10am hour of MHP, Last Week Tonight, Up w/Steve Kornacki at 8 am, and the 11pm Fox News block:

Yet another strong Saturday for Fox News’ Cashin’ In, whose hourly mentions were higher than the next 6 shows combined. But Cashin’ In did not just win its hour: it had the best day overall of all shows on Cable News, with roughly twice the mentions of the runner-up, Hannity.
