The day after New Year’s Day was a shortened schedule on many networks, and there wasn’t a lot of activity on Cable News Twitter. Fox News’ “The Five” had the best hour, while MSNBC’s block of generic news managed to sweep up the most mentions during the day.

CNN Won New Years Eve on Cable News Twitter. It wasn’t even close. Maybe the broadcast networks did better, but in Cable News land, CNN won.
