Friday saw our new normal of Megyn Kelly getting the best hour and Sean Hannity winning best day. Megyn Kelly has really managed to take the lead in Twitter these days, garnering numbers that used to be unheard of for Fox News. I have to wonder if there’s been a renewed effort at Fox on social media; if so, to whomever is doing it: job well done.
It’s also worth noting that Bill Maher managed to almost eclipse Hannity in total tweets for the day….
ISIS managed to steal 9-11 away from, well, 9-11 on Cable News Twitter, perhaps driven by Fox News’ focus on current day problems and MSNBC’s throwing itself on the casket of Today show re-runs from 2001 (which I did not count given that it’s not really news at this point).
The Kelly File and Hannity won Cable News Twitter on Thursday….
President Obama’s speech on ISIS was the top and dominant topic in Cable News Twitter on Wednesday.
