It’s interesting to see that now that the conversation about the middle east has shifted from Gaza to Israel, the loudest (or at least most numerous) voices are on the side of Fox News.
It’s been a while since The Ed Show managed to win best hour; the big events in the news haven’t been in the sweet spot for his show. But Friday he roared back with an impressive 1.9K mentions during the show. Hannity, as is typical, pulled in the best day.
The conversation on Thursday focused on Israel, revealing two interesting things: the lack of news on Malaysia Airlines’ plane and passengers has started to quiet that topic and the focus in the mid-east has shifted from Gaza to Israel. It’s also interesting that Hannity’s show yesterday got the best engagement, and it was notable for his hectoring a guest about Hamas. But Hamas barely appears in the top words list.
A clean sweep by Hannity on Thursday, winning both the best hour and best day on Twitter.
